Birth Time Verification
There is no reliable public record of Pompidou’s exact birth time, so the chart uses Yin Hour (around 04:00) as an inferred time. With a Bing Fire Day Master sitting on Zi Water, the Day Master is relatively weak and benefits from Jia Wood Resource to support learning and intellectual foundations. This fits his background of rising from a farming family through education at the École Normale Supérieure and an early academic career. The Hour Pillar Geng Yin is especially telling: Geng Metal represents Indirect Wealth, linked to finance and management ability, while Yin contains Jia Resource that nourishes Bing Fire, along with supportive Wealth–Resource interaction. This combination best explains his transition from scholar to Managing Director at Rothschild Bank, showing both intellectual depth and practical financial skill. Yin Hour allows Resource and Indirect Wealth to complement each other—supporting strategy, planning, and execution—while Zi Water Official Star later becomes usable through Luck Pillar shifts, aligning with his steady rise under Charles de Gaulle to Prime Minister and ultimately President. Compared with other possible hours, this configuration most closely matches a life path of “education first, banking achievement, then stable political leadership.”
