Birth Time Verification
After comparing all twelve two-hour time blocks, the Si hour (around 10:00) is adopted. For a Bing Day Master, the Si hour produces a Gui-Si hour pillar, forming a Proper Officer configuration. Proper Officer represents discipline, rules, and reputation—well aligned with years of systematic training, respect for coaching authority, stable Olympic performance, and strong public recognition. Si also contains Bing, Geng, and Wu, combining Companion drive with Wealth/Eating God indicators that favor technical execution and competitive performance. This shows an ability to train relentlessly while delivering at a high level in competition. Alternative hours such as Ren-Chen (Seven Killings) suggest excess risk and injury, while Bing-Shen (Companion-heavy) overemphasizes self-interest and does not explain her later role as a fair and authoritative judge. Other options like Mao or Yin provide academic support but do not balance strict discipline with an official post-career role as cleanly. Considering technique, discipline, public image, and post-retirement judging, the Si hour fits best.
Core Analysis
Guo Jingjing’s chart centers on a Bing (Yang Fire) Day Master rooted in Yin, giving her a solid foundation. Companion and Eating God both appear, pointing to a self-driven structure that relies on sustained effort and technical skill. This leans toward a strong Day Master, well suited to long training cycles and consistent performance. With Xin-You in the year pillar, Wu-Xu in the month, and Gui-Si in the hour, all Five Elements are present, supporting both reputation and material outcomes. Her Luck Pillars align closely with her career path. The 1989–1998 Hurting Officer phase supported skill growth but also brought risk and injury (reflected in 1996). The 1999–2008 Indirect Wealth pillar coincided with competitive and fame peaks (Olympics and World Championships). The 2009–2018 Proper Wealth period favored reputation consolidation and family transition (retirement and marriage). From 2019 onward, Seven Killings followed by Proper Officer supports a natural shift toward judging, authority, and social responsibility. Overall, the chart’s strengths lie in Companion/Eating God dynamics that drive motivation and skill output, while attention is needed for the draining effects of Water, Metal, and Earth on health and pacing.
