Tao Zhu Gong was Fan Li of the Spring and Autumn period. He helped King Goujian of Yue recover from defeat and later destroy Wu. Knowing Goujian could share hardship but not ease, Fan Li resigned after success, sailed away on the lakes, and became wealthy as a merchant under the name Tao Zhu Gong.
