Allusion

An Lushan was a frontier military governor under Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. After conflict with Yang Guozhong and ties with Yang Guifei, he rebelled from Shanxi, captured Luoyang and Tongguan, declared the state of Yan, and forced the emperor to flee toward Sichuan. He later plundered Chang'an and was killed by his own son.
