观音收大鹏鸟
宋朝仁宗时期，观世音菩萨身边的大鹏鸟，幻化成人形，到人间作乱，天灾人祸频传，民不聊生，最后观世音菩萨下凡，收服大鹏鸟，为人民解患。~观音收大鹏鸟相传宋朝仁宗皇帝年间，仁宗皇帝便衣访贤以保江山。途中遇女妖蝙蝠精，欲加害仁宗皇帝，大鹏鸟适时出现救得仁宗皇帝，但没有受封，后来大鹏鸟得知前朝唐王有封凤凰为「百鸟之尊」，于是想要去要求仁宗封为「鸟王」，可是到了宫中御花园，仁宗恍然大误，认其为妖怪，于是用箭射伤大鹏鸟。大鹏鸟大怒，便转身一变变为假的仁宗皇帝，大闹宋朝皇宫。最后由包公审理。包公不知真假，误判真皇帝斩首示众。在送往南西法场时，土地公适时相救。仁宗于是封土地公为“福德”再者观音菩萨怕大鹏鸟继续伤害万民，于是收伏大鹏鸟。(今日观音佛像旁有一只鸟，就是大鹏鸟。)
