Allusion

Su Qin of Luoyang studied under Guiguzi. His first attempts to persuade the king of Qin failed, and he returned home poor and humiliated. He then studied fiercely, pricking his thigh with an awl when tired. Later he promoted the alliance of six states against Qin and came to wear the seals of six chancellorships.
