君皇圣后总为恩

Allusion

Mulian was a Buddhist disciple with spiritual powers. His mother had done many wrongs and suffered after death in the hungry ghost realm. Mulian asked the Buddha how to save her. The Buddha instructed him to make offerings to the monastic community during the Ullambana rite. By following this teaching, Mulian helped deliver his mother and extended the merit to others. The fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month later became linked with Ullambana and the Ghost Festival.
